The necklace is one of the Maupassant-classical short novels, which a famous French novelist of 19th century. After the novel publishes, it is all the rage Europe by the quite quick speed. Chinese translation of Maupassant-works first appeared in China in 1920s. Afterwards, his several influencing novel was selected into the Chinese textbook, and The Necklace started to enter the middle-school students’ line of sight at that time. After our People’s Republic had been established, The Necklace compiles into the Chinese textbook. Appeared several changes in the different age: 1950s-1965, selected; 1966-1976, left out; from1978 to now, selected again. During the long period, the interpretation of the necklace was quite different due to the changes of our social ideology. As well as his work in different domestic values cognition degree, its theme also experienced changed many times. The article will take the Necklace’s interpretation changes and teachers’ successful classes as the reference. To solve some problems which students’ lack of interest and teachers’ sense of aging in the current foreign literature classroom. On this basis, this paper combined with the current social background and the need for the development of the times, puts forward advices for multi-interpretation of foreign literature in the senior high school and the strategies of "Taking Students as Main body".
