Research On Text Novels Of PEP Senior Chinese Text Book

The text book of Senior Chinese Course has experienced the changes of time, and the compilation of selected texts is always changing. As a type of literature, fiction plays an important role in Chinese text book. Large amount of discussions on the teaching means and text reading of novels in the text book, but few issues focus on the rationality of these novels.This thesis regards the current senior textbook of People Education Edition(PEP) as research object, analysis the compilation of selected novels. First, the thesis does lateral and longitudinal research on the number and type of these novels to work out the status of them. Then the thesis analysis the advantages and disadvantages of the compilation of text novels, and introspect this case. At last, under the guidance of relevant theory, the author proposes the advice on the text novels, and tries to build a more reasonable and robust text selection system. Wish more excellent novel can be chosen into the Senior Chinese text book.
