Based On The Social Media Of The Ideological And Political Education Change Research

Today's society is an information age where Internet technology is booming and changes are happening everywhere.With the rapid development of digital information technology,personal mobile devices,4G networks,and wireless networks,representative social media,such as QQ,WeChat,Weibo,BaiduTieba,have been attracting college students,who are best at accepting new things,making tremendous changes in their daily life,thoughts and behavior,and interpersonal relationships,and has become an integral part of their lives.While bringing convenience to college students in aspects of living and learning,social media has also brought a rare opportunity to the carrier of ideological and political education,mode of education,the content of education,and educational effectiveness.Every coin has two sides,social media is just like a double-edged sword,for its uniqueness brings opportunities to ideological and political education of college students,but simultaneously exposes education to various challenges.Traditional ideological and political education of college students cannot meet the actual needs of current college students anymore,and social media has objectively become a new and critical front in ideological and political education of college students.Thus,a change in the ideological and political education is imperative.From the perspective of social media,this paper first clarified the concept of social media,compared it with traditional media,and summarized six characteristics of social media.Followed by questionnaire on status quo of college students using social media,this paper objectively analyzed the opportunities and challenges that social media have brought to the ideological and political education of college students.Finally,by employing the modern scientific and technological characteristics of social media,this paper put forward feasible countermeasures in line with changes in the ideological and political education of college students under the social media environment,starting from the educational content,teaching mode,and teaching methods.Moreover,focusing on the continuous upgrading of WeChat,Weibo,and other social media,this study explored new approaches of ideological and political education to promote innovation and development of ideological and political education in the network environment.
