| With the rapid development of computer and network technology,the human society has stridden into the information era.The educational field also has a drastic changes which the center of education move to learning from teaching.The resource can be shared and transmitted more conveniently because of the development of technology.The application of computer and network technology in educational filed breaks the shackles of time and space,let the high-quality resources flow rapidly,solves the problems of uneven distribution in educational and teaching resources,and makes great contributions to the education fair.But the extending of flowing information channels also brings the problem of information overloading.Learners have no idea to face the information sea.All these problems can be resolved by personalized learning.Adaptive learning system can recommend learning resources individually which fit characteristics of learners and show learners navigational learning path according to the learner’s original cognitive structure,learning preferences,learning background and learning style.It helps learners to save cost of time,improve learning efficiency,achieve the learning goals and develop learning interest.This research analyzed the present situation of adaptive learning system.The adaptive learning system of high school English vocabulary was developed by the theory of Multi-Intelligences and Cognitive Load theory with the experimental method.The effect evaluation was based on practice,actual experience of learners and data analysis.In the stage of design and development,the author followed the scientific,effective and reasonable design principles and ensured the value of system with the method of Fuzzy Logic and DataVisualization.With the Fuzzy Logic algorithm,learning time and vocabulary growth of a day,total size of vocabulary and the average of response time was used as inputs.After fuzzing,reasoning and defuzzification,the output was shown as the prediction of learner’s score.This output was used to divide ability level and match the appropriate words for learners.With the method of Data Visualization,the system mainly relied on text visualization to keep intuitive,relevance,appearance and interactivity and helped learners to see the learning process,face to the learning outcomes and gain learning feedback with the clear data structure.The system was consisted of five parts.The pretest module divided the level of learning ability for learners and prepared the resources for first recommendation.The words acquisition module recommended the personal words resource for learners by learning behavior and characteristics in learning period.Consolidation and application module was used to strengthen the learning results and helped learners to consolidate with the actual usage.The test module was used to test learning effect and keep the relevant data.The learning feedback module showed the vocabulary quantity,online learning daily time,test scores and daily words growth in graphical form,gave learners learning feedback and promoted learning effect.Finally,the author analyzed the results of experiment to test the effect of system,found the shortcomings and deficiencies and explored the improvement of future. |
