In China,the healthy growth of college students is so relevant to the correct guidance of their counselors.Counselors are not only responsible for the ideological and political education of students,but also the important performers who guide students to actively practice the socialist core values of education.In order to improve the working quality of counselors significantly,universities use practical strategies actively to strengthen their team building work.Actually,there is an important issue that how to effectively improve the quality of ideological and educational work of college students.At present,the China's colleges are engaged in evaluating performance of university counselors,with the use of quantitative and qualitative combination way.However,leaders,in the assessment of indicators,only selected the strategies with a strong subjective characteristics affecting the assessment results.And it is resulted that the incentive work failed to fully play in this assessment system of the enthusiasm of the team.For the counselors,the lack of a full range of performance reflects the performance of their own assessment system,which means that there is no different with doing more or less,so they won't work harder.Obviously,how to build a performance appraisal system for guiding the counselor to stimulate their potential is the most important thing.For solving the above problems effectively,this paper is based on the practical evaluation of the performance of college counselors,analyzes the classical research articles on performance optimization at home and abroad,and puts forward the research model of the influencing factors of college counselors.On the basis of the relevant questionnaires about factors which may affect the performance of college counselors' performance,this study also researches the variables and completes data analysis step by step in the implementation process.According to collected data,it can be concluded that among these 11 important factors that could affect the performance evaluation of college counselors,10 had significant effects on performance.Combined with the results of the verification,this paper gives the reasons for analysis and optimization measures and predicts the future prospects.Based on the comprehensive research and analysis about the performance of college counselors,this paper suggests that we can establish and improve the new performance appraisal index system.If applied the system to the college counselor performance appraisal work,we will certainly be able to assess the full range of work effectiveness.It is not only benefit for the counselors finding their own shortcomings,but also enhancing their efficiency.
