<Anthropology&Education Quarterly>is the analysis object in this study,259 articles were implemented bibliometric analysis,these 259 articles belong to the type of " Article ",analysis of main object are citing articles(authors,institutions and keywords)and cited articles(authors,times cited,publication date and titles).Through processing and analysis of citation data,from the side to reveal the development situation of researches on anthropology of education in USA during 2007 to 2016.And on this basis,I hope provide some reference for the development of Anthropology of Education in China.Through the analysis of citation data in section of citing articles,American high-yield authors of educational anthropology is mainly distributed in the three region in USA,they are northeastern region,southwestern region and southeastern region.Cooperation between the author and college level is not close,compared to these three areas,in terms of author quantity,other parts of the United States is significantly weaker.But the most of authors of articles in Anthropology&Education Quarterly are independent authors.The reasons for this phenomenon maybe determined by the characteristics of Anthropology of Education.Through the text of the paper's citation data mining and statistics,the top ten research areas in<the Anthropology&Education Quarterly>are Social,Language,Migration,Children/Youth,Identity,School,Community,Latino/Latina,Teach/Teacher and Ethnography.Through the analysis of the section of cited articles,references covering 7766 Articles and 9534 times published since 1762,I classified and reviewed the cited articles(cited time more than 5),they are mainly divided into two major sections of Ethnography and non-ethnography.The ethnography section is mainly the fields of ethnographic works published after completion of the field work,according to the subject is divided into eight sections,they are School,Language,Family&Community,Classroom&Teaching,Academic Achievement,International Comparison,Gender Studies and Educational Policy&reforms.Non-ethnographic section consisting mainly of theoretical literature,according to the subject is divided into five sections,they are Cltural Studies,Social Criticism,Social Capital&Social Reproduction,Theory of P:ractice,Language Code,Discourse Power&Symbolic Interaction,Educational Research and Research Method.All the cited references was made up by 6016 authors.these authors are divided into nine sections,they are Sociology,Literature&Linguistics,Ethnic Studies,Educational Studies,Theoretical Studies of Educational Anthropology,School,Classroom&Teaching Research,Family&Community Studies and Gender Studies.Finally,I discusses the revelation that can be given in the study of educational anthropology in China by the study of educational anthropology in the United States.Based on analysis to the citation data for<Anthropology&Education Quarterly>,I believe that anthropology of education in American focus on the combination of theory and practice.The research results are empirical research based on field investigation evidence.Core authors,core keywords and core citied literature involved in many highly coincident areas of research,each other formed a close relationship between the horizontal relationship and vertical mapping.
