The Application Research Of Psychosocial Treatment Mode In Psychological Rehabilitation Service For The Disabled

According to the statistics of WHO,there are 0.65 billion disabled people in the world,which consists of 10%of the world population.In China,there are more than 8000,0000 disabled people,which is 6.34%of the whole population.In recent years,their living standard has been improved by the implementation of government's policies.But they have psychological problems because of their disabilities.They are more eager to fulfill themselves through communication,respect than ordinary ones.To deal with psychological problems among the disabled,we need to pool efforts from all classes of the society.Currently the research on psychological health service targeting the disabled has drawn great attention in medical community both at home and abroad.However,th e previous study to most extent focused on the disabled people as a whole.Yet littl e has been done about the individual service for psychological health for the disab led.The same thing existed in the domestic study,which tends to make the satisfac tion of the disabled people's psychological needs superficial and less professional.It is likely that people would consider the psychological rehabilitation of the disabled as an auxiliary means of the general medical rehabilitation while neglecting the fac t that solving the problem requires the intervene of social work.This paper take example of one individual case with the attempt to analyze the intervene of social work in dealing with psychological rehabilitation of disabled pe ople using psychosocial model.During the 6-month intern in Community Z,the aut hor got to know Zhou,who was the object of 'Green Apple Paradise' program in c ommunity service.Through communication and interaction,the author found that she had psychological problem,showing inferiority,sensitivity,dependence,pessimism an d self-sealing.Therefore,the study,based on the collective and authentic information from the observing the subject,tries to analyze the reasons of the subject's psycho logical problem,using psychosocial treating model,and figure out the effective ways to help the subject overcome her problems,promote self-esteem and improve com munication skills in order to integrate into the community.In the study,the author combine the research with the practice,make plans for implementation,using skills and methods from psychsocial treating model in individual social work to provide rehabilitation service for the subject.Psychosocial treatment model by system theory,role theory and the influence of the psychological analysis theory and other theories,then absorb the essence,by emphasizing the psychological support to the subject,leading the subject to express her inner feelings,the author offered professional service to the subject and successfully assist the subject with her rehabilitation and development.The study aims to discuss the effective ways of psychological intervene from social workers in order to help the disabled with their mental disorder by investigating the individual case of helping Zhou improve self-esteem and integrate into the community.The study provides some insight about the relevant theory of psychological rehabilitation of the disabled.But there's still much left for discussion and further research.
