Practical Research On Social Work Intervention In Comprehensive Rehabilitation Of Disabled Children

The disabled is a vulnerable group in the society.Because of the irreversible damage and loss of some physical function and limb,it affects their survival and development,which is reflected in all aspects of social life,so it needs targeted rehabilitation.According to the statistical bulletin on the development of the cause of the disabled in China,by 2019,a total of 10.43 million disabled children and people with disabilities with certificates have received basic rehabilitation services.The rehabilitation of disabled children is closely related to all aspects of society.It is the general trend that multiple subjects participate in the rehabilitation of disabled children.With the rapid development of social work,the government began to pay attention to and use the power of social work to provide professional and accurate services for the rehabilitation of disabled children.The actual effect of social work intervention is a significant research topic.Based on the theory of ecosystem and social capital,this paper summarizes the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention in the comprehensive rehabilitation of disabled children and the role of specialty in it.Through the summary of professional practice experience and in-depth interviews with family caregivers and social workers of disabled children in the project,we have a clear understanding of the basic situation of comprehensive rehabilitation of disabled children in A of Foshan City.The analysis found that there are three major problems: the slow progress of psychological rehabilitation,the slow progress of social rehabilitation and the low expectation for disabled children.The causes of the problems can be sorted out as follows: the psychological conflict of disabled children,the pressure of family caregivers and the relative lack of social capital of disabled children’s families.Based on the causes and problems of these problems,this paper analyzes the process of social work intervention,and concludes that social work mainly plays the four functions in helping disabled children building up a positive self-concept,relieving the pressure of family caregivers,linking resources for disabled children and improving the attention of various systems to disabled children,but there are also professional deficiencies.With the support of the policy,the breadth and depth of social work intervention in the comprehensive rehabilitation of disabled children will continue to improve.The research on the achievements and shortcomings of social work will help to summarize practical experience and provide better theoretical support and reference for future social work intervention.Based on this,this study puts forward suggestions and Countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of social work intervention from the five dimensions of disabled children and their family caregivers,school,community,society and social work major,and views the resource advantages and disadvantages of comprehensive rehabilitation of disabled children from a systematic perspective,so as to make the professional services of social work fit the needs of comprehensive rehabilitation of disabled children better,Give full play to the service effect of social work,and improve the level and progress of comprehensive rehabilitation of disabled children as a whole.
