The Study On Qiushi Academy

In the period of the reform movements in the year of wuxu, the Shiwu academy struggle led to suspension. After the reform movements in the year of wuxu, Yu Liansan Shiwu change the system from Shiwu academy to Qiushi Academy. This paper introduces the establishment of Qiushi academy academic background, the aim of education, management and management personnel, teachers and students, and the different attitudes of Yu Liansan, Wang Xianqian, Ye Dehui, et al.Based on the analysis above, the change from Shiwu academy to Qiushi academy is a historical retrogression. But this change adapted to the social, political, and cultural background, and inherited a part of education results of the reform movements in the year of wuxu, and the QiuShi Academy in the modernization of education in Hunan has played an important role.
