| After three decades of exploration and development, non-government higher education in China has initially formed its own school-running level, characteristics and discipline structures. Especially in the last decade, non-government education achieved a great leap from scale-oriented expansion to connotation-oriented development, which made tremendous contributions to the popularization of higher education in China. In the year of 2015, Ministry of Education issued a guidance on the transitional development of the local universities or colleges, which should practice the reform of application-oriented technology. The guidance aimed at orderly leading part of the condition-qualified colleges to start the reform willingly. As a significant component of local institutions, non-government colleges should attach great importance to the teaching management of application-oriented talent training. This thesis will study the teaching management of non-government colleges. Then through the combination of theory and practice, the thesis analyzes the successful lessons and unsolved problems of the teaching management under the mode of application-oriented talents training. Also the thesis puts forward reasonable reform measures on teaching management. I II III IVChapter I illustrates the theoretical background of the thesis and explains the related concepts, such as “non-government education”, “teaching management”, “teaching management of non-government education”, “application-oriented talent training”, “mode of talent training” and so on.Chapter II clarifies the mode of application-oriented talent training program in Jiangxi University of Technology. The thesis mainly introduces the history and current status of teaching management and the approaches of application-oriented talent training mode in the School of Automotive Engineering.Chapter III analyzes the existent problems and causes of the teaching management in Jiangxi University of Technology. Based on the materials collected through questionnaires and interviews, the thesis first analyzes the success achieved in the teaching management of Jiangxi University of Technology while implementing the mode of application-oriented talent training. Then the thesis analyzes the unsolved problems of current teaching management.Chapter IV gives countermeasures and suggestions on the teaching management of application-oriented talent training. The corresponding conditions which are beneficial to the implement of application-oriented talent training should be constructed, they are course system, a platform, teaching teams and teaching quality monitoring system. |
