A Survey On Vocational Ethics Education For Students In Vocational College

The fundamental task in vocational college is to prepare the technical-skillful talents and high-quality workers for production, construction, management and service, and is an important source of new labor in China. With the development of economy and the progress of the society, not only the demand of professional skilled labor is higher and higher, but also the request of the vocational ethics quality is higher and higher. Vocational ethics is the main content of the ethics in vocational college and has its own educational strategy and regularity, that vocational ethics must be combined into professional practice. The study of vocational ethics education for tourism major can make us clear of ethics, vocational ethics and tourism vocational ethics, expand the research field of vocational ethics education, and also can direct to reform the vocational ethics education in vocational college.The study is based on the previous literature, summarized predecessors' research achievements on vocational ethics education, analyzed the connotation and particularity of vocational ethics education.The study took the students who major in tourism in Jiangxi tourist and commerce vocational college as the research object, and designed questionnaire from the school of ethical value, professional moral cognition, moral education content, the ways and methods of professional ethics education, the teachers of professional ethics education, the evaluation of professional ethics education to investigate in the current situation of students' professional ethics education. The survey found that vocational ethics education in vocational colleges is lack of the ethics culture atmosphere, is unreasonable for vocational ethics teaching and the students are lack of initiative of self-cultivation.According to the principles and characteristics of the vocational ethics education, the study suggests that the college should advocate moral values as the mainstream campus cultural activities and optimize the campus environment of the ethics education. In terms of teaching, the college should make the students clear of objective of the vocational ethics education,renew the idea of vocational ethics education, improve the content of the vocational ethics education, pay attention to the practical teaching of the vocational ethics education, strengthen the construction of teaching staff of the vocational ethics education, build a scientific and rational evaluation system of vocational ethics education, Students should strengthen their self-learning, self-practicing and self-reflecting.
