For a country to become strong, it must first strengthen education, and for aneducation to become strong, it must first strengthen faculty. Only first-class educationis a prerequisite for cultivating high-caliber personnel and building a great country.And Tourist Education in vocational college aims at cultivating compound and highquality talents with pioneering spirit and independence of social service, who wouldbe able to accommodate economic development. Guided by the purpose the major ofTourist Education in vocational college, it is priority having a professional teachingforce, which is moral and ability, with practical expertise and wide experience.Vocational College Tourist Teacher Evaluation could provide the basis for thedecision-making in building and management of the team of teachers. It is alsoadvantageous to cultivation of professional talents. And it has a great significant to thedevelopment for both the major and teachers themselves too.Starting from the aspects of teachers’ own development and teachers professionaldevelopment, In order to gain insight into the situation of VCTTE, make an inductionand analysis on the problems of the system, and find out the root causes, thisdissertation researched school leaders, tourist teachers and students of vocationalcolleges by using methods included literature research, questionnaire survey,interviews and analysis hierarchy process. And on this basis, we will determine theconstruction idea of the system, design indexes system and indexes weights, andestablish a comprehensive model to improve the guarantee for system.This dissertation consists of six sections, The first part is exordium, whichIllustrates the research background, significance, summarizes the status of domesticand international research, and introduces research contents, research methods andresearch innovation. The second part describes the theoretical basis and thecorrelation theories of teacher evaluation, concept and functions. It also carries on theelaboration analysis to the tourist teacher operating feature in vocational college. Thethird part is present situation analysis and investigation, pointed out six majorproblems before attribution analysis. The focus of this dissertation is given in part four.It constructs the vocational tourism major teacher evaluation system, givesconstruction principle, construction idea, index design and weight establishment, andcreates synthetically evaluating model. In the fifth part, it is about guarantee for system from society, school and teachers themselves. It gets the conclusion and pointsout the localization, also expecting the future research in the final part.
