| Educational ecology is a kind of education research method, which was gradually emerged in the fifty or sixty’s in nineteenth century. It combines ecology and pedagogy to guide the relationship of educational activities. There are two kinds of research paradigms in educational ecology. One is to apply the theory of ecology directly to the problems in education, and the other is to analyze the educational problems in an ecological visual. Educational ecology considers that there are different levels of education ecosystem in all aspects of educational activities, and the most important of these systems is the harmonious coexistence of various ecological factors.So the significance of moral education lies in the construction of a harmonious relationship between the various factors in the educational ecosystem.The author has the opportunity to serve as the national Chinese teacher volunteer in Thailand. Exposuring to the real scene in Thailand middle school, I got many inspirations after knowing all the aspects of Thailand middle school. Thailand also is called the "Kingdom of Smile". This spirit is not only reflected in the service industries, such as tourism, but also shared by all the people as the moral cultivation. Thailand’s middle schools also pay much attention on the moral education of students. The harmonious relationship between teachers and students and the pictures of humble students respecting their teachers can be seen everywhere in the campus. Therefore, the author hoped to contact this experience with education theories at the beginning of choosing the research topic. I want to analyze all kinds of relations in the field of the moral education through an ecological analysis of moral education in Thailand’s middle school which is meant to give some enlightenment to the moral education of our country.First of all, this study conducts an feasibility analysis of applying the theoiy of educational ecology in moral education. The field of moral education has the nature of ecology. The essence of moral education is to guide individuals to get along with others, and to be in harmony with themselves. Therefore, the theories and concepts of educational ecology can be used to discuss the problems in moral education, which is also the practical significance of educational theory. Middle schools’moral education is a complete ecosystem. Ecological factors, ecological niche and ecological relationship can be found in the moral education of middle schools. In a word, the moral education of middle school is to guide students to deal with the relationship between man and nature, society, others,themselves by all kinds of moral education ecological factors playing the niche role. Thus, the educational ecology can teach them treat all kinds of relations in moral education by a comprehensive, connected and developing way. They can examine themselves and others with a kind of ecological philosophy in order to achieve and others live in harmony.Then it is going to a full scan about the moral education in Thailand’s middle school. Firstly the paper introduces the basic situation of the school, mainly related to the teaching situation of Thailand F school, administrative management system, school rules and regulations, etc.. On this basis, the moral education of Thailand middle school is presented in four dimensions. From the way of education institution it introduces the moral education objectives which are showed in Thailand’s education bills and acts. From the way of content it presents specific requirements and learning content of moral education in middle schools of Thailand. And in the way of moral education mainly talks about the types of activities in Thailand’s middle schools. Finally,, taking F school as an example, it discusses the evaluation methods of moral education in Thailand middle schools.Through the introduction and analysis of these four aspects, this thesis aims to present the situation of moral education in Thailand middle school.On the basis of the empirical research, the next part carries on an analysis of four dimensions of the relationship occurring in Thailand middle school’s moral education. Through the first part of the theory, it is found that the problem educational ecology and the moral education in the middle school solves is the relationship between the human and other factors in the ecological system. Therefore, in the aspect of the relationship between man and nature, this study analyzes the school’s moral education ecology with natural ecology, physical facilities and standardized system of the environment. In the aspect of the relationship between man and society, due to the special conditions in Thailand, it mainly discusses the function of the ecological factors:State, king, Buddhism and Traditional culture in campus ecological field. In the aspect of the relationship between people and others, it studies the influence of teachers and students on middle school students’ moral growth in the field of ecological moral education. In the aspect of the relationship between people and theirselves, it analyze how moral education in secondary schools in Thailand guide the students to be harmony with external ecological factors.Lastly, this thesis analyzes and summarize the enlightenment of Thailand middle school’s moral education to our country. This is also the fundamental start-point and the end result of this study. At present, our country’s moral education ecosystem has many loopholes and drawbacks. In order to improve the effectiveness of moral education in our country, we must take effects in three ways. Firstly, to build a good ecological environment for moral education, including the campus greening, construction of public facilities and the standard system; Secondly, to introduce a variety of moral education ecological factors, which means the moral education in middle schools should get along with the society; Thirdly, to strengthen the construction of activity curriculum in moral education and let the students obtain the moral experience in the activities.Moral education under the perspective of educational ecology is a continuous process of guiding students to the harmonious world. Moral education and educational ecology attach the same importance to relationships. The moral education in Thailand’s middle school present a good ecological atmosphere in four aspects:objectives, contents, approaches and evaluation methods. It also gets harmony in relations between man and nature, man and society, man and others, man and himself. So analysis and interpretation on the moral education of Middle School in Thailand from an ecological way have profound significance and practical meanings to the moral education of high school in our country. |
