Since entering the new century, the problems of convergence of school-running and unknown location in vocational colleges have restricted the improvement of quality of skilled and high-level professionals, affecting the sustained and healthy development of social economy. At the same time, the rapid expansion of the scale of high vocational education leads to the increase of the vocational colleges, which sharpens the difficulty of the outside world to understand vocational colleges. Studying and exploring the classification of vocational colleges helps solve these related problems. This article aims to build the classification system of vocational colleges in China. First of all, it describes the research background, and research significance and analyzes current situation. This paper also puts forward research ideas and methods. Secondly, surrounding a number of theoretical issues and on the basis of clearing the related concepts and combing the development process, the paper discusses the necessity and feasibility of classification of vocational colleges. Thirdly, by designing the dimension of classification, setting up the selection of the classification criteria, carding classification of ideas, and planning classification threshold, it will combine the type standards, including "discipline coverage", "professional attributes", and "the proportion of students receiving non-curricula education", with the grade criterion including "the level of talent training", "the level of college construction", and "the percentage of double qualified teachers", on the basis of outlining the present situation of vocational colleges. According to the first level classification, this article theoretically divides the vocational colleges into 72 types, and preliminary constructs the classification system of vocational colleges. Meanwhile, it has a trial application. Finally, this text will put forward the external conditions that guarantee for the classification of Vocational Colleges from the perspective of government and society. |
