English teachers' professional quality can make a direct and notable impact on the students' learning outcome. And in some ways, English teachers' low professional quality or high professional quality plays a decisive role in the success of English Curriculum Standard. This study is enriched the theory about Mongolian senior high school English teachers' professional quality and analyzed the reason and given suggestions by doing the research. It is hoped that the research result can grasp Mongolian senior high school English teachers' attention and give references for related education department. And at last, students' English learning outcome is improved by enhancing teachers' professional quality. Therefore, the paper reveals both great theoretical significances and profound practical significances.The thesis has explored the following two questions: 1. What is the current situation of teachers' professional knowledge quality? 2. What is the current situation of teachers' professional skills quality?Mongolian senior high school English teachers' professional quality at Xing An League was looked through by making use of some methodologies, including teachers' questionnaires and students' questionnaire, teachers' interview and consulting references. The investigated subjects were the teachers from four Mongolian senior high school at Xing An League. Totally 60 teachers' questionnaires and 100 students' questionnaire were distributed. And four teachers were interviewed. Then research datum were analyzed and summarized to find out the current situation of English teachers' professional quality in order to find out the main existing benefits and problems. The problems are as the following: 1.English Teachers' teaching skills isn't high. From the questionnaire, it can be noted that a large number of teachers sometimes use various and flexible teaching method during the teaching process. And from the students' answer, it can be concluded that about many students agree that English teachers should change their teaching method 2. Teachers are lack of sustainable development concept. From the basic information of teachers', it can be concluded that only few Mongolian senior high school's English teachers who have bachelor's degree acquired master degree. Only a few teachers spend over 5 hours a week in reading professional books and magazines in order to improve themselves.3.Teachers are lack of innovation awareness and ability. It can be noted that a lot of students basically agree English class is boring. From the interview, it can be known that although there are many new teaching methods at presents, teachers cannot apply it during the teaching practice because of many reasons, so the old teaching method is always applied by English teachers. 4. Teachers are weak in academic research awareness and ability and short for reflection awareness and ability. Only some teachers sometimes do research and many teachers seldom attend conferences and write academic papers independently in English. Some teachers seldom reflect from the points of students and many teachers seldom reflect on the successful points and unsuccessful points.At last, the thesis was summarized and suggestions were given on how to improve Mongolian English teachers' professional quality based on the present situation: 1. Improving teachers' teaching skills. 2. Improving teachers' sustainable development concept. 3. Strengthening teachers' innovation awareness and ability. 4. Improving teachers' academic research and reflection awareness and ability. The thesis was finished by pointing out the research disadvantages and given some advice for further research.
