| With the rapid development of Internet and information and communication technology,e-learning becomes a way of learning for many learners.Large amounts of digital learning resources provide much convenience for learners’ learning.While,there are some deficiencies in the storage and presentation aspects of knowledge resources in mainstream learning support systems,such as resources’ heterogeneous distribution and weak correlation,it’s easy to cause learners’ cognitive overload and learning disoriented so that learners cannot make full use of the resources.Emerging knowledge visualization technology have good knowledge representation function.Exploring how knowledge visualization can be introduced into resource construction to meet the needs of learners’ learning and the efficient utilization of resources becomes a hot topic of online learning.The combination of ubiquitous learning characteristics and trends in resource development,from the cross-view of pedagogy,brain science,information science and graphics,designing a knowledge resources co-construction and sharing environment supported by visualization technology is of great significance.This study bases on constructivism learning theory,connectivism learning theory,brain science theory,dual coding theory,schema theory and knowledge management theory,which aims to design,develop and validate the knowledge resources co-construction and sharing system supported by visualization technology.By studying visualization technology selection,resource co-construction and sharing methods,this study designed a model of knowledge resources co-construction and sharing supported by visualization technology.The model addresses some shortcomings in the mainstream learning support system,such as the lack of support for knowledge resources integration and lack of effective navigation.To realize resources construction visualization navigation,the model uses visual method to show the logic relation of knowledge and link the learning resources to the knowledge points.To achieve resources survival of the fittest and push,the model realizes quality assessment of resources and so on.Based on this,this study developed a knowledge resources co-construction and sharing system supported by visualization technology.And finally,after three weeks of the experiment on graduate students major in educational technology,grade 2013,we verified the feasibility and effectiveness ofthe system through a learning process based on it.The result shows that knowledge construction supported by visualization technology can deal with resources’ heterogeneous distribution and weak correlation problem better,reduce learners’ cognitive load and promote learners’ cognitive development. |
