| Textbook illustration plays an important role in teaching resources,and it is an indispensable part in history teaching,especially for the junior middle school students.It can help students form the image thinking and stimulate students’ interests in learning.There are a large number of textbook illustrations in junior middle school history books,which contains rich content,reflecting the characteristics in the "graphics" modern society.The design of textbook illustrations meets the needs of the junior middle school students’ psychological development.Compulsory Education History Curriculum Standard pointed out that the chart is a way of presenting history teaching content,granting students more specific and better access to information.Therefore,teachers should use illustrations rationally,and actively guide the student to focus on the relations between the textbook illustrations and text and to give them learning instructions.Take advantage of images’ typical features,such as concrete,specific and to present some historical information in order to deepen on students’ understanding of textbook knowledge,and cultivate their ability of problem analysis.The rational use of illustrations has great significance in both the teachers’ "teaching" and students "learning".However,in actual teaching,the illustrations gain little concern from teachers and students,so less auxiliary teaching effect happens.This paper adopts investigation method and literature research,deeply analyzing of history textbook illustrations of seventh grade.First of all,we use time as clues to the analysis of the development of the history textbook illustrations,then according to the form and content of illustrations,junior middle school history textbook illustrations are classified,and summarize the status and role,then the current situation of the use of current history textbook illustrations of statistics and analysis,put forward relevant strategies for the teachers "teaching" and students "learning" finally.Teachers should establish the new education and in-depth excavation of the textbook illustrations idea according to characteristics of students’ cognitive development.Taking seventh grade history textbooks as the carrier as well analyzing the illustrations in this book based on the study the teacher’s "teaching" and students "learning" to study illustrations,combining with the history textbook illustrations as the breakthrough point,strategies are came up. |
