Chinese textbook illustrations of teaching has attracted more and more attention,the attendant problems have begun to appear, in the junior middle school languageteaching process, teaching the use of illustrations have been neglected.The cause of textbook illustrations in the junior middle school language teachingactivities by the reasons there are two main reasons: first, the objective reason,illustration itself of poor quality, resulting in its teaching activities can not be used.The junior middle school language teaching material in some illustrations in thecontent and content of the text does not match, illustrations show emotion is notaccurate, as well as illustrations in the text position, not the right size, causes theteacher cannot use illustrations to organize teaching, students don’t like. In second, thesubjective reasons, teachers and students of the use of illustrations of theunderstanding inadequacy. Teachers and students are not aware of the importance ofillustration illustrations, resource of reasonable development, leading to illustrationdid not play its due role.Through the study of the relevant aspects of the theory and some actual surveydata, the author think from the strict management of picture editing and change theteacher on the use of illustrations of the understanding and utilization of two respectsundertake improvement, first of all, from the source to improve the quality ofillustrations, must be on the editorial staff qualification restrictions, editingillustrations of the staff selection of high-quality and rich materials pipeline, and canlet teachers participate in the textbook illustration of editing work; secondly, teachersshould pay attention to the course of Chinese education, to realize the use ofillustrations to organize the teaching on students’ capacity to other cultures haveimportant supporting role, and from the expansion of illustration utilization ways areexplored. Hope the above a few shallow discuss for junior middle school Chinese textbookillustration of how to exert the function to provide a reference point, the junior highschool teachers and students willing to use illustrations, change the past ofillustrations in textbooks ignore attitude, make the illustrations in the junior middleschool language teaching activities effectively in use.
