Reading method as a traditional teaching method in Chinese teaching in our country for a long time, the cultivation of students' reading ability is not only helpful to improve the students' language expression level, also can form good sense of language and aesthetic ability, so as to enhance the students' aesthetic ability of reading. Cantonese is a dialect differences with Mandarin, in pronunciation to read has a greater impact; in addition the closed language environment-- from geography,climate, and then to human has a unique regional characteristics, which in some ways also to the students understand the text emotional impact. This has led to the teacher even to carry out the reading teaching, the teaching effect is not good. From this perspective, the author deeply the importance of reading teaching in Cantonese area,in order to start the relevant investigation and study.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction, mainly introduces the origin of the study, literature review, research ideas and methods, and research innovations and significance; the second part is the definition of related concepts, mainly on the "Cantonese and Cantonese dialect context" and "reading and reading teaching" and "dialect context and reading", and "reading" teaching in the junior middle school language teaching in Cantonese area of the definition and analysis; the third part is the Cantonese in the context of junior high school Chinese reading teaching status, this paper mainly adopts the questionnaire and interview two.Through the investigation object in junior middle school Chinese teachers Cantonese,separately from the students' pronunciation, reading level and psychological development, and teachers and other aspects of analysis; the fourth part is the Cantonese in the context of the junior middle school language reading teaching strategy, is also the key part of this paper, the author mainly from the "reading skills", "classroom teaching mode", "reading effect", "Cantonese area of local cultural resources" and "campus reading atmosphere" five aspects put forward relevant teaching strategies.
