Research On Xi Jinping's Youth Thoughts

Xi Jinping proposed at the 19 th National Congress of the CPC that “A nation will prosper only when its young people thrive;a country will be full of hope and have a great tomorrow only when its younger generations have ideas,ability and a strong sense of responsibility.” He inherited the CPC's fine tradition of valuing youth and expressed his trust and expectation for young people during the “May4th”youth symposiums and in the letters of reply and congratulation to young people.They formed youthful and innovative youth thoughts.Based on the guidance of the Marxist youth ideologies,Xi Jinping's youth thoughts formed the scientific understanding and basic views of youth and youth work according to the international and domestic environment and youth characteristics.Xi Jinping's youth ideologies have solid theoretical and practical sources.They inherit the youth ideologies of Marx,Engels,Lenin,Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,and Hu Jintao.Xi Jinping's youth ideologies also come from Xi Jinping's own rich practical experiences.This article discusses the experience of Xi Jinping's Liang Jiahe's transition period,his experience as a local leader,and his influences on the youth's thoughts since the 18 th National Congress.At the same time,profound Chinese traditional culture also has a subtle influence on the formation of Xi Jinping's youth thoughts.Xi Jinping's youth thoughts are rich in content.Based on the results of previous studies,the author summarizes Xi Jinping's youth thoughts into five aspects.The first aspect is emphasizing the status and role of youth,which is about the youth is the living forces of innovation;youth is the main force of people's friendship,youth is the main force to realize the Chinese dream.The second aspect is emphasizing education for youth,which is about paying attention to the Marxist theory education,traditional Chinese culture education,history education for young people.The third aspect is emphasizing youth talents,which is about cultivating the young in scientific and technological innovation area,and those who is majoring in law and management.And how to introduce,train and use young talents.The fourth aspect is paying attention to young people's morality,which is about the necessities,contents and methods of youth moral cultivation.The fifth aspect is emphasizing youth work,which will emphasize that party committees,governments,the Communist Youth League should treat youth work seriously.Xi Jinping's youth thoughts have important theoretical and practical significance.In the theoretical sense,the author discusses that Xi Jinping's youth thoughts further develop the youth thoughts of Marx,Engels,and Lenin,and develop the youth thoughts of Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,and Hu Jintao.At the same time,they also enrich the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.In terms of practical significance,the author discusses that Xi Jinping's youth thoughts are conducive to cultivating qualified builders of the new era of socialism,and providing action guidelines for the development of youth work and providing scientific guidance for the healthy growth and comprehensive development of young people.
