Intervention Of Demand-oriented Community Endowment Service Under

As the trend of China’s aging population is more and more serious, the problem of supporting old people has received the widespread attention. Government, community, scientific research institutions do lots of research about current situation of China’s age support in many ways and aspects. The survey about endowment demand is presented in this paper mainly based on the practice of Nanjing S community with the perspective of social workers and the survey finds that:① S community integrates the elderly services provided by volunteer organizations and enterprises institutions and does very well in the field of life care, medical services, etc., which can basically meet the needs of elderly life care.②Spiritual consolation and related psychological needs of the elderly in S community don’t get enough attention and there are not enough professional social workers to carry out the effective intervention.③Elderly demand in S community is getting further differentiation and a few elderly people begin to attach importance to and pursue realization of personal self-value.By researching current situation of endowment demand of old people in S community, the author finds that the quantity and degree of specialization of professional social workers in Nanjing’s communities need to improve. The method of effective intervention is needed in the endowment demand of old people in communities. This research mainly starts with the perspective of social workers and applies main methods of old people’s social work to improve the endowment service demand of old people in S community. Intervention mainly focuses on the spiritual and cultural service demand and self-worth implementation requirements of the old. Intervention plan mainly includes the beginning phase, service contract phase, defining tasks, taking action, and the end, comprehensively takes advantage of case method, group method, community work method to enhance the influence and satisfaction of the social work’s intervention, and finally through expert assessment and result assessment, it is found that intervention of professional social workers and social work methods obviously improves the inner spiritual and cultural requirements of old people in S community.
