The paper takes the fans of Yang Yang and Liu Yifei,the protagonists of the movie Once Upon a Time,as the reference object.During the release of the film,the fans’ participation behavior and its influence are observed and considered.In the eighties and nineties of the 19 th century,the rise of the Hong Kong Star made people known for the first time the “chasing stars” group;in the Super Girls Finals in 2005,the fans of Li Yuchun,Zhou Bichang,and Zhang Liangying voted for nearly 10 million fans.The group became famous;in 2007,Yang Lijuan’s star-studded stories made the fan community “stigmatization”;in 2017,the movie Once Upon a Time “locking ticket” event made the fan community become subject to criticism once again.By observing the participation behavior of fans and analyzing the psychology behind their behaviors,it is beneficial for mainstream cultural groups to better understand the psychology of fans.As a representative of a subculture group,the fan community will not only produce a certain social effect in the Internet age,but also have a certain influence on the commercial operation mode of a star.This paper through a variety of research methods,a certain interpretation of the fan’s participation behavior,the fan participation behavior is divided into two categories-fans support behavior and fan text production behavior,and observe in turn.After that,the characteristics of fan participation behaviors are fanaticism,organization,and non-original,self-satisfaction fan text production behavior.Finally,through the interpretation of fan participation behaviors and characteristics,from the inner level of the fan and the social level,the impact of fan participation behavior is summarized.To be sure,the fan participation behavior will have a positive impact on the fan community and society,but it should also be noted that due to the lack of guidance,the fan community is constantly deformed,and the abnormality of the fans has also led to the idol industry’s deformity.It has caused some adverse effects on society.This paper believes that to eliminate the adverse effects of fan participation behavior,we must focus on stratification management,first to accelerate new media literacy education nationwide,secondly,to strengthen the constraints on the media,idol industry,and most importantly,to conduct psychological counseling for fans.Code of conduct,advocate fans to correct star-chasing,healthy starchaser.
