Thematic teaching mode is a teaching mode that focuses on teaching activities.The model originated in the United States in the early 20 th century and has been widely used.It has also been popularized and applied in Chinese teaching and English teaching.In recent years,thematic teaching mode has also been applied to teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Many scholars have also studied the construction of thematic teaching mode.The thematic teaching mode is in line with the characteristics of Chinese teaching in foreign languages,especially in the teaching of spoken Chinese.After tahe exposition of the theme mode and its related theory,On the basis of predecessors' research,The author applied the topic type teaching mode to the practice of Dalian Medical University intermediate oral English teaching,Take the development of Chinese intermediate oral English II for example,to carry on the teaching design and implementation,design theme,theme activities to join is a highlight of the teaching design.In addition,the experimental classes and the parallel class teaching object,questionnaire investigation,after comparison and analysis concluded that the theme of Chinese teaching mode to broaden the students' vocabulary,rich cultural knowledge and competence into sections and consolidate students' textbook knowledge has certain help.It is proved that the thematic teaching model is an effective teaching mode of Chinese spoken language,which has the value of promoting and using.
