A Report On The Interpretation Of “The 6th International Conference On Advances In Construction Machinery And Vehicle Engineering” On The Basis Of Skopos Theory

Nowadays,the scientific research of many trades and professions is no longer constrained in China,and the researchers from all nations are now cooperating globally.This not only enhances the development of science engineering and technology translation,but also creates favorable conditions for it.The rapid development of the English interpreting industry is also an inevitable result of the rapid development of globalization and technology.Therefore,the study of English interpretation of engineering industry is necessary.This article is an interpretation practice report of the author.The author acted as the interpreter of the “The 6th International Conference on Advances in Construction Machinery and Vehicle Engineering” at the Shoulv Jinglun Hotel in Qinhuangdao from September 13 to September 14,2017.This thesis theoretically analyzes the interpreting conducted by the author at the conference.It adopts the format of reporting the record of the author’s preparations for pre-interpreting before the conference,as well as the interpreting process on the same day,and the subsequent post-event summary and reflection.Thethesis discusses the interpreting methods and strategies of interpretation in the field of technology.With the help of interpreting studies,we further explore research space and value of mechanical engineering interpretation,and we want to make minor contributions to the field of interpretation in mechanical engineering industry.
