With the advancement of China's economy and global economic integration,accordingly more and more foreigners are engaging in economic fields related to international trades with China.Thus the demand for business Chinese language training is growing rapidly,which has become a significant highlight in global Chinese teaching.Strengthening the analysis of oral business Chinese in classroom teaching can,on the one hand,improve the teaching efficiency of business Chinese lecture,and on the other hand,it can also provide references for solving related language teaching problems.Since business Chinese is recognized as specific and difficult to study,along with problems such as the low efficiency of classroom teaching and the lack of interest of students in oral business Chinese training.The classroom teaching of oral Chinese entails a more efficient and flexible model.Situational method and task-based method are widely used in teaching of Chinese as a second language,beneficial in promoting learner's oral language through both virtual scenarios and communicative tasks.Based on the characteristics of business Chinese spoken language teaching and the related design theories of teaching methods,this thesis adopts a teaching method combining the situational method and the taskbased method.The teaching object is the Business Chinese Language Class in Chongqing University of Arts and Science,with reference to teaching design based on the third unit “First Contact” in Business Chinese Teaching Material “Intermediate Oral Business Chinese”.This thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,mainly expounding the origin of the topic selection and the research status,and listing the relevant theories as the important theoretical basis for the thesis.The second chapter analyzes the current situation of business Chinese teaching in Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences,including the analysis of textbooks,learners and educators.The third chapter is the highlight of this thesis,characterized by the teaching design of the first part of the “Communication Overture” in “The First Contact”.The fourth chapter,based on the teaching design of chapter three,evaluates and reflects the teaching effect after the implementation of teaching process.At last the fifth chapter analyzes the limitations of this teaching design and offers a conclusion of the analysis.
