| The goal of Business English major in Vocational Schools is training qualified skilled personnel for society.As manufacturing industry of China goes stronger and global economic and trade becomes more frequent,economic transformation turns to strong demand and impetus.In this background,vocational education is given more attention to,and is designed from top to bottom(country to school).Therefore,Vocation education has clearer direction and qualify demands.Because of the influence of traditional oral English teaching mode,we could find problems such as the ignorance of student’s subject-position and goal of oral teaching.At the new development tendency of vocational education,these problems have restricted the personnel training level.After analyzing the reference data at home and abroad,carrying out survey and interview,we found the conditions of curriculum,teaching process,class and teaching management.And we carried out fundamental inspect to learn of the circumstance and favourable factor.We also found a series of problems such as(1)the cognition of teaching : the ignorance of importance at oral teaching;(2)the mode of teaching : backwardness;(3)the teachers: unbalanced comprehensive quality;(4)student’s cognition: shortage;(5)learning psychology: barrier confronted.Combined with investigation and interview data,to the question,it probably has relations to bad English communication environment,ignore the use of English oral function,limitation of oral and teaching ability and barrier of learning from student.From my own teaching experience,we should(1)clearly definite the goal of oral teaching,(2)promote comprehensive ability,(3)motivate the interest and positivity of student,(4)innovate oral teaching mode.As the oral teaching involves fundamental and specific vocational skills,we should study these problems during the activity of design teaching plans,curriculum standards and also action research in teaching to resolve them. |
