Intervenor—The Form And Concept Of Interactive Works

In modern art,we have contacted or viewed more and more interactive art works,and artists of this art need the involvement of viewers,so as to complete the work and achieve the artistic value.The interactive art has a variety of forms and scopes,and its main expression form is the interactive art in the form of mechanical devices.With the intervention of technology,however,interactive art is endowed with more possibilities.Such possibilities are not only expressed in art,but also in more commercial fields.The interactive works,such as ?This Progress? by Tion Sehgal,are another kind of interactive form.It does not take substantive materials as its medium,and does not tend to exhibit a certain object.Instead,it focuses more on the intangible relation of intervention between viewers and artists.More and more artists are willing to deliver their artistic notions by means of interaction.Interactive art has its own unique form,In that process,a relation will be formulated among the artistic creators,the artistic works,the public.This art has broken the traditional artistic expression form in creation form and concept delivery.Based on the domestic situation,though the number of this kind artistic project is still in the marginal degree of modern art,it has become a hot spot of academic discussion.Therefore,it needs further research and discussion.This thesis tends to carry out a research about the concept and form of interactive art,then take?This Progress? by Tino Sehgal as a case study,to analyze the form and concept of different interactive arts,as well as their interactive relation with the public,and finally discuss other related issues in this field.
