Emotional labor strategy is a process in which employees express appropriate emotions to meet the needs of the organization by adopting certain emotional regulation strategies in the process of communicating with their service objects.As job competition intensifies and personal pressure increases,emotional labor to meet organizational requirements has become an essential competency for employees,especially in service industries,where employees are required to perform high levels of emotional labor.Proper use of emotional labor strategies not only has an impact on the physical and mental health of employees,but also on the performance and results in the field of work.In recent years,scholars have carried out a large number of empirical studies on the relationship between emotional labor and turnover intention,mainly to explore the correlation between emotional labor strategy dimensions and turnover intention,as well as the intermediate or regulatory variables between them.However,there are obvious inconsistent conclusions about the relationship between emotional labor strategies and turnover intention.Based on the literature review of emotional labor strategy and turnover intention,this study uses meta-analysis to explore the correlation between emotional labor strategy dimensions and turnover intention,based on 21 independent empirical analysis samples in China.The characteristics of the sample and the general law of the influence of measuring tools on the relationship between the two are discussed.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)Surface play has significant positive correlation with turnover intention,deep play has significant negative correlation with turnover intention,and natural expression has significant negative correlation with turnover intention.(2)The proportion of male subjects in the sample played a significant regulatory role in the relationship between the surface layer and the turnover intention,and in the deep layer of the relationship between the turnover intention and the turnover intention.(3)The cognitive structure of the turnover intention scale plays a significant role in regulating the relationship between turnover intention and turnover intention in the surface layer,and in the deep role in the relationship between the turnover intention and the turnover intention.(4)The regulatory role of different emotional labor strategy measurement scales in the relationship between surface play and turnover intention is not significant,and the role of adjustment is not significant in the relationship between deep play and turnover intention.
