The Relationship Of Adult Attachment And Loneliness

Adult attachment,humor and loneliness are hot topics in the psychology field,closely related with people's lives.However,it is hardly to see the systemic study on the relationship of the three in China.Therefore,making the relationship clear has a double meaning of theory and practice.Through the study of the relationship among adult attachment,humor and loneliness we can get a deeper understanding about how adult attachment and humor affect loneliness,thus providing a reference to loneliness prevention and intervention in practice.This study selected 368 adults having love and marriage experience as subjects from various provinces and cities such as Hebei,Shandong,Heilongjiang,Shanxi,Sichuan,Beijing,Tianjin and so on.Getted more than enough data through questionnaire survey,conduct research on their overall situation of adult attachment,humor and Loneliness.This study used analysis of variance,correlation analysis,structural models and other methods to study the differences in the three different demographic variables,analysed the relationship among adult attachment,humor and loneliness of individuals having love experience,and depth studied humor's mediating role between adult attachment and loneliness.Hope the data,information,objective description and analysis of this research can provide strategies and solutions to problems in related fields.Result as follows:(1)Tow adult attachment dimensions,four humor types and loneliness exist exist significant differences in demographic variables.(2)The dimensions of attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance were significantly related to adaptive humor and maladaptive humor,and the same as loneliness;then adaptive humor and maladaptive humor and loneliness are positively correlated.(3)Humor plays a part intermediary function role between adult attachment and loneliness.Finally,according to the results of this study,not only enrich the empowerment theory and puts forward practical constructive opinions,but also the problems existing in the research and development direction of future research are discussed.
