The Influence Of Dialect On Its Melody From The Folk Songs Of Chaohu

Chaohu folk songs are the songs art that the masses have developed in the practice of production and life,and are closely connected with people's daily life.As one of the branches of Chinese folk songs,it is not only a part of traditional music but also an important part of Anhui folk songs.The melody of the Chaohu folk songs is closely related to the Chaohu dialect,which has an important influence on the formation of its melody,and deserves our in-depth study.On the basis of previous research,this paper adopts interdisciplinary research methods,taking music as ontology,linguistic point of view,the influence of dialect on folk melody is discussed through analyzing the relationship between folk songs and language in Chaohu Lake.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter analyzes the background of the folk songs in the Chaohu Lake,including the historical culture and its geography.The second chapter summarizes the dialect of Chaohu,stating its zoning,phonology and characteristics.The third chapter analyzes the ontology of folk songs from three aspects,which are genre,theme,and musical structure.The fourth chapter studies the influence of Chaohu dialect on its folk tunes from three aspects: the relationship between Melody and character,tune and intonation,lining word and lining cavity.
