In the development of Chinese ideology in the category of “Yi”,Confucianism,Buddhism,and Taoism have their own explanation for “yi”.For Taoism,the “Yi” is mainly discussed in the epistemology of “the debate between words and yi”.As for Buddhism,the“Yi” is reflected in the category of "Nian",which displays the character of selfishness.However,it is said that Confucian moral theories have most effect on “Yi”,especially for its imperative contents.The category of "Yi" appears mainly in the form of ethical thoughts in the history of Confucianism.In the pre-Qin period,"The Analects of Confucius" has "beautiful" behavioral instructions,and "Ritvous feels feels at university" has sincerity.But the flourishing of "Yi" started from Wang Yangming,when it was valued and systematically elucidated.The category of "Yi" can be said to have a special role in Wang Yangming's theory of mind.It is tied with the mind,knowledge,and objects.However,the interpretation of these three categories needs to be realized through the "idea" as a bridge.Wang Yangming,himself said: "The origin of the mind is Yi.The essence of the yi is the knowledge,and the yi is the thing." This is the special value of "yi" itself.Through the bridge of Yi,Wang Yangming completed his unity of between ontology and asceticism,built a harmonious system of mind and body,and thus realized the sublimation of his mind in thought.Because,through the category of "Yi",one can explore the "mind body," and "Yi" is the origin of the mind."Intentional action" is the development of the mind,and "intentional action" can be divided into good ones and evil ones.It is necessary to pass "sincerity",by correcting bad intentions to ensure the perfect nature of the mind.Therefore,through the category of "Yi",one can study the ontological core of "Yi",which can lead to "sincerity".However,for "Yi ",whether good or the evil,we need to have a "conscience" that is clearly discriminating between right and wrong to control the direction in which "idea" is launched.That is to say,we know what we know,sincerely wishing to be sincere.The "intention" category can also study the ontology of "conscience",and it can further extend the theory of work to "inducing conscience"."Yi" has an inherent orientation in Yangming's cardiology,and he can eliminate the objectivity of "object"."Material" is merely the "thing" that exists because of the "intention" of the subject.Therefore,in order to make the "idea" always be in a sincere state,it is also necessary to use "object" where "Yi" means pursuing things.The object is a natural and sincere festival,putting on work and being extended to the "investigation of things." Yangming is doing like this,through the "Yi" category to combine the four aspects self-cultivation,knowledge,sincerity,righteousness,and then to integrate ontology and work theory."Yi" has "induction" mechanisms such as pointing,linking,and uniting in Yangming's ideology,and it is both subjective and constructive.By observing things with "idea",things have human colors.Since then,"ideas" have dissolved the opposition between the subjective world and the objective world.Things have existed because of people's "consciousness," which means the world is just human Yi.In the world,this is the construction of a unified world of Yi through "Yi." This further unity of sublimation is the realm of “Oneness of all things,” that is,“Heart and Earth with my body,ghosts and gods are with me”.This realm is the benevolent realm of beloved ones,benevolent people,and loved ones.It is Yangming's fulfillment of moral concern.The logical premise and value make the foundation for practicing the moral mission.The category of "Yi" exists in Yangming's ideological system."Yi" is sometimes the "Yi" of the will,while sometimes it is the duality of the "Yi" and "Yi" of the private,resulting in the "idea" theory.The core content system is divided into congenital one and sentimental one.This historical reality of differentiation also reflects the omissions and limitations of Yang Ming's internal theory of mind.The idea of "Yi for the Master of the Mind" makes necessary corrections for Yangming's mind science.At the same time,from the rise and development of this "idea" discourse,we have realized that Yangming's theory of "idea" has implications for the mid-Ming academic fields,and also the influence on Later Periods and the development trends of Yangming's theories of "Yi" after the Mid-Ming Dynasty.
