The Study Of Lao-tzu's "Pu"

The research documentation of Lao-tzu is voluminous,and compared with other important categories,the study of "pu"(?)is not sufficient,and it is more the interpretation of its aesthetic meaning and less on the differentiation of philosophical connotation,and the implication of connotation inevitably leads to the confusion of the extension.As a result,this paper attempts to systematize and study the "pu" in Lao-tzu' from three aspects: version text,annotation and connotation.On the basis of this,the author discusses the vanishing of "pu" and the path of practice,and finally expounds the humanistic connotation of "pu".The first chapter combines the six important editions of Lao-tzu and the theory of "versional divergence" and "textual assimilation" to analyze the "pu" in Lao-tzu.It has been found that the word "pu" has been in a large increase since it was simplified,which objectively proves the importance of "pu" in Lao-tzu.Then,it is proved that the original exegesis of "pu" should be related to "crime righteousness".But Lao-tzu did not use this original exegesis,but gave the new meaning of "pu" :(noun)"pu" is interpreted as: essence,nature;unprocessed wood,root,road;(adjective)"pu" is explained as: plain,simple,and thick.The second chapter is to study the "pu" annotation in Lao-tzu and divide it into three categories: philosophy/cosmology,politics/ethics,and human life/human nature.The philosophy/cosmological connotation of "pu" is the state of the universe unknown and invisible.The political/moral ethical connotation of "pu" is the plain and simple state of ethics in the society.The meaning of the life of "pu" is the complete and complete state of human nature.Finally,"pu" is put into the history of the Lao-tzu school,the academic history,the intellectual history to examine its origin and historical contribution.In chapter three,the first part discusses that Lao-tzu used the word"san"(?)to mean that the death of"pu"implied his condemnation and warning to the society at that time.Lao-tzu completes the process of"return to pu"with the discovery of alienation,reflection,and reintegration of the three phases.Lao tzu exhorted the people:"return"(??)is the only way to practice"pu".In the second part,Lao zi is reset in the historical background of the spring and autumn and warring states period,and the great humanistic significance of Lao-tzu's"pu"is expounded with the new concept of"human simplicity".The first level of the concept of"humanistic pu":the individual humanistic value of Lao-tzu;The second level of the concept of"humanistic simplicity":Lao-tzu's political and humanistic rationality.
