The Research Of Xu Xu’s Fantasy Narrative

Xu Xu and his literary works is kind of a special literary phenomenon in the modern Chinese in the twenties-century.As a popular star of writer in 30s and 40s,Xu Xu was highly acclaimed but also suffering the blame with slander.He utilized mysterious imagination and circumlocutory romance stories as carriers to explore the human nature,life philosophy and express his aesthetic ideals,which is the prominent characteristics of Xu Xu’s works of fiction.This article tried to return to the texts and combined with narrative theories and Bakhtin’s theory about "chronotope" to explore the fantasy of narrative about Xu Xu’s works,space-time form and its narrative causes.In the first chapter,the author tried to extract the fantasy as a key narrative characteristic from kinds of family resemblance elements.The family elements include ghosts,religion,spy,exotic feelings and martial arts.Through the close reading in-depth to show the unique narrative style of Xu Xu.The second chapter started from the basic creative dimensions of time and space.Deepening the fantasy research of Xu Xu by observing the internal performance of various time-pace forms which include accidental time,road space,death,dream and night,and the interaction between different space-time forms or the narrative space-time form and the life space-time view of the author.The third chapter relied on the analysis of the wandering life experience and traditional literature reception of Xu Xu to decode the mysterious of fantasy narrative.
