The Historical Contribution Of Chen Qubing

Chen Qubing was a famous politician,writer and educator before and after the Revolution of 1911,and he was also a historian.Chen Qubing write historical works,organize historical documents,save and publish historical information,all of which made a great contribution to history.The first chapter introduces Chen Qubing's hometown and his life experience,which has a great relationship with his historiography.The second and the third chapter detail Chen's contribution to history,divided into two chapters.On the previous chapter,it narrates the adherents of Ming Dynasty and the anti-Qing scholar literature and the literature of the Qing Dynasty which were written and sorted out by Chen Qubing.The next chapter summarizes the historical documents and the notes written by Chen Qubing and the local literature and the local chronicles sorted out by Chen Qubing.The fourth chapter explores the reasons why Chen Qubing committed to the study of historiography and the influence of historical research.There are about five reasons,among which the consciousness of recording history and nationalist ideology of intellectuals belong to personal reasons,these are the direct causes;among which the late Qing Dynasty nationalism thought,the local autonomy movement in the Late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China and the cultural tradition of regions south of the Yangtze River belong to the times reasons,these are the indirect causes.There are three points of impact.Politically,it is conducive to advocating national integrity,to promote national democratic revolution;In history,it helps to collect and save historical document and does the objective of historical research;Culturally,it is conducive to promoting local cultural construction and it can bring up a local cultural celebrity.
