| In 1979,the Japanese NHK invited the Chinese CCTV to take the "Silk Road",recording the history and culture along the silk road.At the same time,it opened the curtain of the cooperation between China and foreign to shoot some large TV documentaries,which has epoch-making significance in the history of the Chinese TV documentary development.Nine years ago namely In 1988,China’s CCTV and the Tokyo broadcasting company jointly produced a grant TV documentary—— "the Great Wall",which was broadcast at CCTV and TBS at 8 o’clock P.M(Beijing Time)on November 18 thof 1991.And the documentary created one of the highest ratings of TV documentaries.It has been 25 years before China and Japan cooperated to produce the "New Silk Road" to let the audience further and deeply understand the importance of this cultural route between East and West.The natural and humane documentary——" The Wild China” made by CGTN Documentary and BBC.It also caused great reputation at home and abroad,meanwhile,it is the climax of the cooperation between foreign countries and China.Thus,the research object of this paper is co-production documentary.From the perspective of film narratology,this paper will apply features of text analyses to compare the four grant Sino-foreign co-production TV documentaries and analysis narrative documentary features of Sino-foreign co-productions during 1980 s,1990s and the beginning of the new century.This thesis hold the point that the cooperation between sino-foreign countries reflects the characteristics of the times form the documentary narrative style;it tends to diversity and civilians from the perspective of narration;narrative techniques are becoming more various and its themes are becoming more international because of technology from the perspective of the flexible narrative structure.At the same time,this paper thinks that it`s a trend for the development of co-production documentary between Sino-foreign countries and will provide reference to the domestic documentary. |
