Along with the improvement of living standards,people pay more attention to the spiritual and cultural satisfaction,cultural needs and value orientation.The museum has become the main position of many cultural consumption sites.In the face of such a social background,the entire museum community is aware of the need to better play the function of the museum,more accurate display of industry characteristics,which need to import visual image design in the museum.But due to the visual image design of Museum in our country is still in the initial stage,only in some large national museum introduced visual image design,Minority Folk Museum related research is relatively scarce.This topic mainly on the Folk Museum targets were studied.Through the summary of the industry characteristics of Folk Museum and the Museum of folk visual image design concept,design principle,starting from the spread of visual symbols of the development and the visual image,in-depth analysis of Folk Museum of visual image design strategy.In the end,the paper takes the Shanxi Folk Museum as an example to design the visual image,and discusses how to meet the opportunities and challenges in the new face,and to create the brand image of Shanxi Folk Museum,and to create a greater cultural value.
