The Sorting And Research Of The Serial New Epitaphs Collection Of Xi'an Beilin Museum Serial

The serial New Epitaphs Collection of Xi'an Beilin Museum(abbreviated as The sequel),which was edited by the former curator of Xi'an Beilin museum Zhao Liguang,and published by Shanxi Normal University General Publishing House in the year of 2014,is a collection of 231 epitaphs from Xi Wei to Yuan dynasty,which were collected by Xi'an Beilin Museum during 2007~2013.The books published rubbings,annotations,and appended basic elements,which provided the new materials for the study of language and history from Xi Wei to Yuan dynasty.Because the book was new published,the study of it is not enough and deep yet,especially something valuable have not involved,and there are some mistakes which were urgently needed to be corrected and supplemented.So the article chooses the epitaphs published by the sequel as research object.And collate these epitaphs one by one,correct the mistakes about the interpretations,supplement the hiatus.And on the basis of this,we can do further study about language and history.The artic le is divided into four parts: introduction,collating,the study of character and vocabulary,and historic research.The first section is introduction,which summarized the research materials,the topic selection basis,the research significance and current situation,the research train of thought and method,and research emphasis and difficulties.The second section is collating,contrast the pictures of rubbings,detailed collate the interpretations made by the book detailed,correct the mistakes,and supplement the hiatus,in order to supply the more reliable text for the further study.To classify the mistakes of original text,analys is reasons,and summary methods of collating stone carving.The third section is the study of character and vocabulary.This section includes two parts,the first part is character study,select some important variant and difficult characters,and detailed research the evolution process,and summarize the regulars of them,in order to supply new materials for the research of the history of Chinese characters.The second part is vocabulary explanation;choose some difficult words to research,analys is of the word formation,in order to provide the reference for the research of the history of Chinese vocabulary.The fourth section is historic research.Mainly through contrasting the epitaphs and the history books about the peoples and events,research the figures' family lineage and the officer experience to added and prove the history books,to show the historical value of these new epitaphs.
