Form Personal Work To Analyse Symbolic Applying For Figurative Painting In Contemporary Art Context

Symbolism is the soul of art creation,is to support the existence of the basis of oil painting.With the diversified development of art forms,figurative painting is still highly related to the contemporary art context.It is all because of the symbolic implication which connects to the time spirit.This article will start from the symbolics of figurative painting,and take this theme to analyse the creative ideas of the artist in contemporary context.Through the study of literature,it is not difficult to find that the research of "symbolic" techniques using in painting,presenting an unbalanced situation in domestic and foreign academic development.The discussion of the "symbolic" approach in the figurative painting is still in a state of being addressed.Therefore,it is the ultimate goal of this paper to start with the graduate works and to discuss and analyse the symbolic expression in painting practice.The article is divided into four parts.First,on the one hand,through the division of the painting language,from the "Figurative Realism" and "Figurative Expression" two ways to start,so that it will enrich the interpretation of "figurative painting" systematically.On the other hand,with the function of "symbol" in the image,the paper discusses the universality of the "symbolic" approach in oil painting operation by combining the different concepts of "symbol" in the art history.Secondly,to the personal graduate stage of the work to focus on the "attempts of different painting language" and "theme exploration of painting" two aspects,trying to sort out my working stage of thinking.Thirdly,it introduces the artists who have a direct influence on the process of working and try to restore individual artistic sources and motivations through the analysis of their paintings.After that,in the practice of oil painting,around the composition and colour,narrative and anti-narrative and physical and individual experience all these three parts,how is the symbolic expression works in the specific application is what the paper going to consider about.At last,this paper will explore the meaning of "symbolic expression" of figurative painting in contemporary context.As the context of contemporary painters to break through the traditional mode of thinking through the symbolic meaning of painting in the attention to the reality,from the personal position,experience,experience of life experience,about the content of the continuous development and continuation of contemporary art is China derived from the basic power of good works.
