Currently,the rapid development of the global economy,the economic structure is also unceasingly adjustment and improvement,international trade has been an unprecedented development.The booming development of knowledge economy not only creates a new opportunity for the transformation and development of traditional industries,but also promotes the adjustment of economic structure.As the representative of the emerging economies,creative industry not only has the characteristics of high added value,strong convergence and diversity,but also meets the requirements of low carbon environmental protection and sustainable development,has attracted the attention of all countries.In recent years,China’s cultural industry has been developed by leaps and bounds,however,it is still very different from the developed countries.Japan as one of the world’s major economic powers,the creative industries is rising rapidly and occupies a central position,has become the second largest industry type after the automobile manufacturing industry,and has made a significant contribution to economic growth.China and Japan are adjacent to each other,increasingly close economic exchanges,and the development potential of communication and cooperation is larger.Study on the cultural and creative industry trade between the two countries,reflecting the different competitive advantages in the industry,meanwhile,providing new ideas for the development of China’s foreign trade.It is of great significance to the research and development of creative industries in China.Based on the related trade theory,firstly,the qualitative and quantitative methods are used to study the overall situation of cultural and creative products trade between China and Japan,a further analysis is made on the scale and structure of trade between the two countries.Secondly,this paper makes a comparative study on the complementation,competition and growth potential of the cultural and creative products trade between the two countries.Finally,using a variety of trade index analysis method,mainly revealed comparative advantage index and trade complementary index and intra-industry trade index,the trade types and features of two creative products in-depth analysis.Based on the research results of the majority of scholars,this paper makes two innovations,On the one hand,innovation of the research view,most of the domestic scholars mainly focus on the service industry and agricultural products,this paper takes the cultural creative industry as the research object,and analyzes its intra-industry trade.On the other hand,the innovation of research content.Creative industries of developed countries and developing countries as the research view,this paper makes a systematic analysis of intra-industry trade between China and Japan,and promotes the steady development of their trade relations.
