At present, although intra-industry trade of China’s cultural products has somedevelopment,the development is low level and the trade structure is not balanced.Intra-industry trade of China’s cultural products are affected by many factors. Basedon the related theories in intra-industry trade and existing research results, this articlemades empirical analysis respectively on the factors of intra-industry trade of China’shomogeneous cultural products and different cultural products with using partial leastsquares method. The results show that there is a big difference between the factors ofintra-industry trade of China’s homogeneous cultural products and different culturalproducts. There is a negative correlation relationship and significant impact betweenthe economies of scale and intra-industry trade of China’s homogeneous culturalproducts. There are positive correlation relationship and significant impact betweenentrepot trade, consumer preferences, government intervention and intra-industrytrade of China’s homogeneous cultural products. Significant degree from big to smallare entrepot trade, consumer preferences, government intervention. Level ofeconomic development,foreign direct investment, the demand for productdifferentiation and the degree of similarity have positive correlation relationship withintra-industry trade of China’s different cultural products. The biggest impact isproduct differentiation, then are the degree of similarity, level of economicdevelopment. Foreign direct investment is not the most significant. Economies ofscale and market structure have negative correlation relationship and significantimpact on intra-industry trade of China’s different cultural products In particular,economies of scale has a negative correlation on intra-industry trade of China’shomogeneous cultural products and different cultural products. Compared with theintra-industry trade of different cultural products, economy of scale effect on theintra-industry trade of homogeneous cultural products is more significant, as0.242677.Based on the current situation of the development, factors and theoretical andempirical studies of intra-industry trade of China’s cultural products,countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects to promote the development of intra-industry tradeof China’s cultural products are put forward.Five common countermeasures andsuggestions to the development of intra-industry trade of China’s homogeneouscultural products and different cultural products are presented First, develop theeconomy of scale and effect the formation of agglomeration. Second, improve thelevel of China’s per capita income. Third, deepen the reform of cultural system,establish and improve related laws and regulations of the culture industry. Fourth,strengthen the financial support of the cultural industry products, providing guaranteefunds for cultural enterprises. Fifth, strengthen the relationship with internationaltrade partners and explore actively overseas markets. About the development ofintra-industry trade of China’s homogeneous cultural products, first,we should makefull use of entrepot trade advantage, promoting the development of intra-industrytrade of homogeneous cultural products. Second, attention to consumer preferences,seeking potential market. Third, government should strengthen the support tointra-industry trade of homogeneous cultural products. Countermeasures andsuggestions of the development of intra-industry trade of China’s different culturalproducts are as follows. First is to maintain the sound and rapid economicdevelopment. Second is to strengthen the introduction of foreign capital, improvingthe use of foreign capital. Third is to develop characteristic culture industry products,implementing the strategy of national brands.
