Discussion On The City And Man In Wang Anyi’s Novels

This paper conducted a statistical sorting and classification of Wang Anyi’s novel "Shanghai" and "Shanghai people",according to whether they are born in the standard is divided into "old Shanghai" and the "new Shanghai",outlines Wang Anyi’s novel "Shanghai" and "Shanghai" in the context of the city image.This paper discusses the relationship between the city and the people in Wang Anyi’s novels from two aspects: the influence of the city and the reflection of the city.For city civilization,Wang Anyi uses her usual "aufheben" spirit,the city is a double-edged sword for the people living in it,and the people of the city also has the psychological contradictions,then make people react to the city,so as to enrich and diversify the Shanghai culture.The Shanghai city spirit in Wang Anyi’s novels reflects the great power of Shanghai culture.Wang Anyi stands in the rational speculative angle of view,objectively examines the city and the human relations,devotes to excavate the city and human’s deep level relations and entrusts with the time significance.
