The dynasty of Wei and Jin is a historical period that be full of alternate regimes and frequent wars, generals should have a high social status. But the historical fact is that generals are often despised by scholar in this period, and it is more difficult for them to elevate.Meanwhile, scholars have a relatively high social status, and enjoy more qualifications and opportunities. The study of Scholar General in Wei and Jin dynasties is the group of literatus who lead the soldiers. However, the number of Scholar Generals in Wei and Jin dynasties is so much that the research must not be in-depth when we study whole group. And case studies can not reflect the whole picture. Therefore, this paper will take a combination of case studies and group studies, the perspective of division and unity will be taken to study Scholar Generals in Wei and Jin dynasties. The limit of Wei and Jin periods is also determined by this angle, from the division in the first year of Chuping(190)to the unification in the first year of Taikang(280).The first chapter of paper is Lu Xun who resist the country of Shu.The reasons why Sun Quan will elect Lu Xun to be a commander for the upper reaches of the Changjiang River and the relationship between the battle of Yiling and the establishment of Sun Wu are the main research contents. The second chapter is Sima Yi who dominate the politics of Cao Wei.The reason why Sima Yi can win the military and political power of Cao Wei and the relationship between the incident of Gaopingling and the Wei dynasty that been displaced by the Wei dynasty are the main research contents. The third chapter is Yang Hu who defend the town of Xiangyang. The research of this part will focus on the reason why the emperor of Sima Yan choose Yang Hu to guard the Xiangyang and the relationship between Yang Hu's preparation and unification of Western Jin dynasty. The fourth chapter is the groupment of Scholar Generals in Wei and Jin dynasty. And this group have some common characteristics such as the "unified" political ideal, the relative concentration of the hometown, and the origin of the gentries. In the first three chapters,I chose Lu Xun,Sima Yi and Yang Hu as the representatives ofScholar Generals in Wei and Jin dynasties, which seem to be independent but interrelated. And the three persons are the key figures to promote the reunification from Wei dynasty to Western Jin dynasty. If Lu Xun do not won the battle of Yiling,Sun Wu can not be established.Without Sima Yi who control the military and political power, the surname of Sima can not achieve the subrogation between Wei dynasty and Jin dynasty.Because of the long-term operation of Yang Hu in Xiangyang, the Western Jin dynasty finally unified all of the national region. From the later period of Han dynasty to the Three Kingdoms, and then to the western Jin dynasty,Lu Xun,Sima Yi and the representative of Scholar Generals such as Yang Hu promote China to be unified. It can be said that the reunification of the Wei and Jin Dynasties was completed by the Scholar Generals of this era.
