Three Questions Of Li Qunyu’s Poetry

Li Qunyu,as one of the few hunan poets who enjoys a considerable reputation in Late Tang Dynasty,was born in Xiang Chu,in the last phase,he had a mind aspiration of unwilling to sink and the bitter sorrow of latter-day literati,he also enjoyed the leisurely and comfortable life be free from things of the world.His poetry has been shrouded in the feelings of the end of Late Tang Dynasty,also accepted the influence of Hunan culture.About Li Qunyu’s life,poetry and other issues,there are quite a number of comprehensive research results,but the theme of poetry whether is beyond hermit and a hanger-on of an aristocrat,the problem of Li Qunyu’s poems “master Qu Song”,and the problem of Li Qunyu’s poems “imitate Tao Xie”,there is a large space for exploration,the first question involves the theme of the poetry,the second and the third issues involved in the art of poetry,so this article will be divided into three questions to study.The first chapter of this thesis starts with the existing poetry text of Li Qunyu,according to the character of Li Qunyu and the social atmosphere of Tang Dynasty that the scholars requested to the dignitary,to differentiate and analyse the theme of poetry whether is beyond hermit and a hanger-on of an aristocrat,draw a conclusion that the poetry of Li Qunyu did not limit the theme to hermit and a hanger-on of an aristocrat,Li Qunyu had some poems that requested to the dignitary,but it was accepted under the social background.The second chapter discussed the problem of Li Qunyu’s poems “master Qu Song” in detail.Li Qunyu lived in Yuan Xiang,mastered Qu Song,he and Qu Song were all underappreciated,they chanted a doomsday sorrow in the poetry,both under a personal sorrow that be born at a wrong time and a great resentment of home country in the last phase,but his sad is more closer to SongYu,meaning more self-injury;at the same time,he put the Xiang Chu local scenery and myths and legends together,reproduced a real and fantasy aesthetic,created a romantic and sad artistic conception;he was good at using beautiful words,clear pictures to writing life,outlining the landscape,grief was presented in a brilliant way,formed a lonely,cold,brilliant and sad poetic style.The third chapter discussed the problem of Li Qunyu’s poems “imitate Tao Xie” in detail,Li Qunyu highly praised Tao Yuanming,Xie Lingyun,put forward "Tao Xie style" in the history of literature for the first time,he admired Tao Xie’ leisure,aloof life style,and was deeply influenced by the fresh and natural style of Tao Xie,he learned the beauty of Tao Xie,and combined the merits of Tao Xie,conveyed a aloof and leisurely life interest,formed a fresh and natural,tranquil and smooth poetic style.Brilliant and sad,fresh and tranquil,these two seemingly contrasting style,formed a harmonious unity in Li Qunyu’s poetry,and has formed the unique artistic style of Li Qunyu’s poetry,therefore his poetry is unique in the poetry world of Late Tang Dynasty.
