A Study On Li Qunyu And His Poetry

Li Qunyu in late Tang Dynasty is known, and Qi Ji, Hu Zeng has been listed as Hu Nan three poet in Tang Dynasty. In the later time, Li Qunyu get different degree of attention, but have not been taken seriously. His records show a brief and sparse. We can hardly find any records about his life in the two books which are called History Book about Tang Dynasty. His deeds are recorded in history, notes and novels.But, LiQunYu is a strong local culture and excellently fine artistic accomplishment on the dynasty of the late Tang. He and Du Mu, Fang Gan, Pei Xiu, Ling Hutao, Duan Chengshi have had intercourse. His poetry in the late Tang poetry has its unique position and value.Therefore, to a certain degree, great value of study has been attached on his life and works. What’s more important is all the studies about him concern some important literary issues of late Tang dynasty. In this paper, author attempts to make a further, comprehensive and systematic study on Li Qunyu and his poetry. Firstly, this piece of article has as its study object his life. It’s going to unfold and make initial study from the recommender who introduced him to set his foot on the road to politics and the reasons why he quited office and went back home. In addition, for many records were also textual research. For readers to restore a true image of Li Qunyu. Secondly, It’s going to unfold and make initial study from the artistic features of poetry. The author thinks that Li Qunyu’s poetry has various characteristics, and the characteristics of formation are analyzed. Again, this paper analyzes Li Qunyu’s Poetry in the late Tang Literature’s performance, characteristic, tendency, style and evolution, and explained its creation and the pros and cons of reason. Finally, this paper selects each phase of the important anthology. The authors will analyze the characteristics of the poems in various anthology. I hope finally to give Li Qunyu ’s poetry in an objective and correct evaluation.
