With the frequent occurrence of meteorological disasters, increasing attention has been paid to the meteorological problems. Exchange and cooperation on meteorology between different countries are also further enhanced. The fifth chapter of Meteorology Today describes the formation of fog, dew and cloud. Translating this text to some extent contributes to the dissemination of meteorological knowledge. This source text involves many meteorology terms, which poses a huge challenge for the translator. Without managing these terms properly, it would be difficult to produce a translation of high quality. This translation-practice report explores the terminology management in meteorology term translation. In this report, such tools as TermoStat and LingoSail Termbox are used in terminology management in three stages: the pre-translation, the translation and the post-translation. The translator holds that terminology management plays different roles in the three stages, not only helping translators to translate terms accurately, but also ensuring the accuracy and consistency of terminology. This translation-practice report consists of four chapters. Chapter One provides some background information on the translation project. Chapter Two explains some introductory concepts and the basics of terminology management. The significance of terminology management and some management tools are also discussed in this chapter. Chapter Three mainly presents a detailed picture of terminology management in three stages of the translation, i.e. the pre-translation, the translation and the post-translation. Chapter Four draws a conclusion from the translation-practice report.
