A Translation Practicereport On Communication Technology

With the advancement and development of technology, the importance of communication English has become increasingly prominent. As a special translation style, the features of communication English syntax and vocabulary are also well known and discussed. When we translate some communication materials, we should not only have a good understanding of the characteristics and the associated translation theory and techniques, but also use them flexibly in translation practice.This article is a translation practice report in regard to the role of communication in the field of emergency rescue (English to Chinese),The translation materials are Designs and FEvaluations of Emergency Millimeter Wave Communication System for Flood Control" published in the International Conference on Electronic Information and Control Engineering in 2011 and The District Medical Data Center Based on Cloud Computing published in the Fifth International Conference on Computer Science and Education in 2010. This translation report mainly contains four parts: first, the article introduces the background and structure; second, it introduces the content, including the original material and theoretical basis; third, it gives a brief description of the characteristics of communication translation, focusing on analyzing the difficulties in translation. In the third section, the author will discuss the translation standards, combined with specific examples the author will study the problems appeared in the translation process from the vocabulary and sentence aspect; the last part of the translation, the author will summarize the lessons and point out the parts that can be improved.
