As the fundamental factor of China's great rejuvenation, the public has recognized the importance of education, which delivers valuable talents of all professions and good citizens in society. It's helpful to study on other countries' sex education through various methods such as reading the academic papers written by native researchers. It's more convenient for Chinese readers to read the translated papers instead of the original texts. The qualified translation can promote the development of sex education in China. On the contrary, the unqualified translation is always confusing for the readers, thus affecting the educational research negatively.Therefore, it's worth studying the translation of academic paper on education.The material chosen for the translation is Canadian professor Pamela Malins'educational paper - How inclusive is "inclusive education" in the Ontario elementary classroom?: Teachers talk about addressing diverse gender and sexual identities published in 2016 in the Journal Teaching and Teacher Education. The translation report is based on the translation of this education thesis. Communicative translation is chosen as the main principle in the translation practice. The thesis discusses the preparatory work before translating, translation process and post-translation work.Then the thesis presents the translation strategies through specific examples in the perspective of words and sentences. The thesis pays special attention to the translation of proper nouns. The aim of the thesis is to bring inspiration to the translation of academic paper on education and offer helpful suggestions to other translators in the future.
