In this thesis,the monosyllabic verbs in Chinese are studied.Monosyllabic verbs are a subclass of Chinese verbs,which are classified according to semantics.They indicate that the perpetrator has some degree of damage to the victim through certain tools,and sometimes the destruction is devastating,irreversible.In this paper,we select twelve monosyllabic verbs which are in accordance with the definition: "thorn" 、 "zha2" 、 "shuo" 、 "zhen" 、 "nang" 、 "cha" 、 " tong" 、 " zha" 、 "zi" 、 "duo" 、 "gui" and "chuo".In this paper,we focus on the exhaustive search of corpus argument structure,and summarize its meaning according to the different content of the argument structure,and discuss the evolution of lexical meaning in different periods.The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter introduces the research status of monosyllabic verbs and the research object,significance,research method,corpus source and innovation of this thesis.The innovation of this paper is to find a typical verbs,the monosyllabic verbs,to explain the argument structure of the members,to find out their new meanings,In the meaning of verbs is not complete phenomenon,for the development of Chinese verbs contribute to the meaning of a force.In the second chapter,we take the representative word "thorn" in the monosyllabic verbs of thorns as the object of study,find out the phenomenon of incompatibility through corpus exhaustive search,based on corpus structure The thesis summarizes the structure of the argument and analyzes the correct and correct meaning.At last,the author makes a distinction and generalization of the polysemous system of "thorn" and combs its path and law of meaning evolution.The basic structure of the third chapter is similar to that of the second chapter,and the second is the representative verbs "zha" in the monosyllabic verbs of the thorns.According to the interpretation of the major dictionaries and the search of the corpus,Right and wrong,through the argument structure of the induction and summary,come to the correct and complete meaning item.In the end,the paper also makes a distinction and generalization of the polysemous system of "Zha",and combs the path and rule of "Zha".The fourth chapter chooses the other ten verbs in the monosyllabic verbs: "shuo" 、 "zhen" 、 "nang" 、 "cha" 、 "tong" 、 "chuo" 、 "zha" 、 "zi" 、 "duo" 、 "gui" and so on.The corpus-based search,We can summarize the semantic category of the argument,and study the regularity of its semantic evolution so that we can get a better understanding of the characteristics of the punctured verbs.The fifth chapter mainly focuses on the development of the monosyllabic verb’s meaning in the thorny class;the mode of the evolution of the monosyllabic verb’s verb,the evolution mode of the monosyllabic verb,And to explore the evolution of the meaning of the monosyllable verb.The conclusion is mainly to sum up and summarize the contents of the previous five chapters,and points out the shortcomings of this paper.Finally,the future research on these verbs leads to their own views.
