| China has a profound seal culture with a long history,among which porcelain seal is a unique one.Although it is not a popular seal material,it has a style of its own with comparison with other varieties of seals.In 2004,a large number of bluish white porcelain seals from Southern Song dynasty were excavated from Shuguang Road in Jin gdezhen.These sealsare not only simple,elegant,natural and static in appearance,but also contain rich humanity connotation of Song dynasty.This paper conducts analysis and statement on these bluish white porcelain seals from the origin and the art form of porcelain seal.Besides,it also analyzes seal cutting’s beauty of lines and structures as well as the quality of jade worship and Taoist natural rules,which manifests unique value of bluish white porcelain seals. |
