Bluish-white glazed porcelain is a rare flower of colorful porcelain world. After the middle period of Northern Song Dynasty, manufacturing process be improving day by day, gradually formed a large blue white porcelain system, it was named "six large kiln systems" with the Ding kiln system, Jun kiln system, Cizhou kiln system, Yaozhou kiln system, Longquan kiln system together.At present the study about bluish-white glazed porcelain relatively scarce, most of articles discussed in general terms, period divided and features were not clear enough. Some articles only discussed the unearthed relics, but not linked the historical background.Since the 20th century, the fifties, a large number of relatively beautiful bluish-white glazed porcelain unearthed in Inner Mongolia in succession, some have a clear age and a high academic value. Although some reports or photos simple mentioned bluish-white glazed porcelain unearthed in Inner Mongolia, however, the study is yet relatively weak, due to the different cognition, every author discussed these porcelains by a different way, some differences even very apparent, lead readers confuse some information about these porcelains, to some extent, restrict scholars research the bluish-white glazed porcelain unearthed in Inner Mongolia region. This thesis based on the shapes, padding, glaze, decoration and other' characteristics of bluish-white glazed porcelain, which unearthed in Inner Mongolia region. By the use of archaeological typology method, these bluish-white glazed porcelain will be divided into five periods:middle Liao Dynasty, late Liao Dynasty, Jin Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Qing Dynasty. There are specific discussions for porcelain of each period, and research in great depth from many aspects, such as the geographical distribution, characteristics of the times, historical background. Thus demonstrating that Inner Mongolia's bluish-white glazed porcelain unearthed in a larger number, regional distribution is relative concentration, rich in shapes, obvious regional characteristics in times and technology.
